{louis has learned the art of texting}

Louis-style chairs have been spotted sporting lovely script fabrics, and I am a big fan of this trend. What a perfect way to add a touch of pattern and femininity!

Style at Home's November issue features two chairs with flirty script fabric on the back {Elte and CamillaHouse}, and I think they bring just the right amount of glam and sophistication to the table {pardon the pun}!

Carolyn Quartermaine is the queen of French script fabrics. I love her sumptuous use of bold color, silk, and romantic scrolling text. Quartermaine is an artist, fabric designer and stylist who has worked on projects for Hermes, Vogue Living, and Louis Vuitton. As you can see in her work below, Louis XV chairs become sculptural pieces in modernist settings!

I could think of endless possibilities for these gorgeous script fabrics!
